The “L-PACK” partnership has been working for almost a year elaborating L-PACK Manuals, which include learning materials for migrant learners and guides “How to use L-PACK manuals”.
The consortium worked on the content of the materials during partner meetings in Italy and Germany, held Skype conferences and also shared documents on special project platform. The permanent exchange of results enriched the fruitful co-operation of the partners. Various internal meetings within the different universities and education providers completed the professional exchange of experience.
All learning materials are structured in twelve modules regarding 12 selected topics by learners and teachers in partner countries. These modules cover the needs of adult migrants that have only basic knowledge of national language and further wish to develop their language skills, according to level A2 set by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Each module consists of 5 dialogues supported by exercises, grammar, vocabulary and relevant country information. The exercises are graduated from basic to advanced ones. The vocabulary contains two types of vocabulary, one type regards some specific words of the country information, the second type regards the dialogues of the specific module.
At the actual stage of the project all partners are involved in the preparations for the video and audio versions of the units: 12 modules with 5 dialogues each which will come up to 60 films for every language version (Italian, Spanish, Greek, Czech, German and Lithuanian).
