L-PACK project was represented at the international conference the European Day of Languages, which took place in Brussels, by Ecaterina Constantinova from ASEV (Empoli, Italy). On the initiative of the Council of Europe, the European Day of Languages has been celebrated every year since 2001 on 26 September. The conference took place on 25th and 26th September 2011 and was mainly devoted to language learning and language projects. In the conference around 120 people participated. As it was its 10th anniversary, there were lots of opportunities to reflect on what has been done so far in the fields of language learning as well as discuss opportunities and future challenges. Apart from plenary session there were organised thematic workshops in the following areas: languages and the community, languages for business and employability, media and ICT, language learning methodologies.
The main objectives and the expected products of L-PACK project were presented during “Languages and the community: regional, minority, migrants’ and lesser used languages” workshop. The participants exchanged their experience and knowledge in language teaching and language projects.
